ServiceMax Rolls Out Catalyst For Seamless Field Service Implementation

New solution enables accelerated product configuration to drive best practices in field service

PLEASANTON, Calif., April 26, 2016 — ServiceMax, the leading provider of field service management solutions, today announced its latest offering, Catalyst, at Field Service USA. Catalyst, a best practices implementation program, allows prospective ServiceMax customers to home in on their field service business goals by monitoring, measuring, and managing their service outcomes more effectively than ever before.

The Catalyst package provides a set of pre-configured service processes and functionality that is seamlessly deployed within an organization’s existing infrastructure. With Catalyst, customers obtain immediate insight and visibility into the scope of their business, delivered through seven key performance metrics including first time fix, days to invoice, mean time to repair, and contract renewal rate. Insights provided to Catalyst customers are based off of more than 500 existing ServiceMax deployments.

“Rolling out a best in class implementation program, ignited our field service operations and has allowed our business to meet our field service objectives at a faster pace than we previously anticipated,” noted Ero Selander, VP of Customer Solutions for SKF USA. “Armed with insights and suggestions, we’re able to focus our efforts on rapidly solving customer problems making them more competitive in their marketplaces.

ServiceMax’s Catalyst solution also provides businesses a set of best practice processes in field service operations, such as account and location management, installed base management, inventory visibility, mobile deployment, and more. The product is now available to all North America customers.

“We’re driven to provide our customers all the tools they need to succeed with their field service journey,” said Scott Berg, Chief Operating Officer at ServiceMax. “Catalyst is a key to starting field service operations in the most effective and efficient manner yet. It ultimately enables customers to benefit from greater visibility of a complete service delivery chain from product purchase to inventory management to analysis.”

Catalyst is part of a broader solution upgrade ServiceMax rolled out today. For more information on the news, click here.
