ServiceMax Widens Leadership Gap With Record European Growth

Demand for Smart Connected Field Service Management Platform Accelerates Expansion

London, UK – 14 October 2015 — ServiceMax, the field service management solution for a new era of business, today reported a record-breaking year in its EMEA business with 300 per cent year on year growth, more than doubling its EMEA customer base and adding in excess of 90 certified partner consultants in key vertical sectors, including Medical Equipment, Energy, Utilities and Manufacturing.

As the fastest growing field service software company in history, the acceleration of ServiceMax’s EMEA business follows a milestone year for the company globally. Recent Series F funding of $82 million is fueling continued investment across the region with a focus on sales and marketing, including investment in its new London-based EMEA headquarters and 132 per cent growth in its European workforce over the past 12 months as the company continues to exceed its revenue objectives.

“We are seeing huge demand from customers that want to evolve their service capabilities from reactive to proactive and eventually becoming predictive using our Smart Connected Service platform,” said Spencer Earp, Vice President EMEA for ServiceMax. “Maximising service revenue and productivity in the field has become a strategic priority for major organisations in Europe and indeed globally. It is also underpinning new business models designed to exploit the service led economy and harnessing the benefits of servitisation, the Internet of Things, as well as improved asset utilisation by collecting and analysing IoT data.”

A recent McKinsey report stated that IoT could generate between $3.9 and $11 trillion dollars per year in revenue globally by the year 2025 with B2B organisations poised to generate nearly 70 per cent. B2B demand is also contributing to ServiceMax’s commercial momentum across Europe.  Recent EMEA customer wins include organisations such as Sky Italia, Xeikon, Sony Professional Services Europe, CareFusion International, Marel, Nilfisk, Xylem, QubeGB and Dorma.

Next month, Kevin Ashton, Father of the Internet of Things, will join ServiceMax CEO Dave Yarnold in the line-up of prestigious keynote speakers in Paris at the company’s annual European customer event, MaxLive.
