We’ve received photo submissions of a lot of cool tools so far. Some big, like Chad’s power vac truck. Some small, like Clay’s Mini Maglite. We’ve also gotten high-tech submissions like Derek’s rugged tablet PC.
We’ve certainly received some pretty “cool” photos (and stories) in response to our “Cool Tool” Contest, in which field service workers can win an iPad 2 simply by sending us a photo of themselves with their favorite tool. The following submission came to us from Canada, and it definitely trends toward the “high-tech” side of things. The proud user of this cool tool explains:
My name is Eric McDonell. I’m the president of Tartan Home Comfort in Cornwall Ontario, Canada. We provide heating, cooling and indoor air quality sales, service and installations. My cool tool is the Canary indoor air quality monitor. It will record temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, particulates and VOC’s. You upload them to your computer and can give your customer a detailed picture of their indoor air quality!
While more attention is usually paid to air quality outside, indoor air quality is often just as important, if not more so in some cases. Thanks for sharing, Eric, and good luck in the contest.
