For the newly unemployed, life can sometimes feel like a train wreck. In which case, the best advice we can give is to straighten things out a bit, get back on track, and keep chuggin’ along.

And in this week’s installment of the SmartVan’s regular Job of the Week feature, we’ve got the perfect position to help you do just that. In fact, the position we’re talking about does exactly that. Like, literally!

The R.J. Corman Railroad Group — the guys who right trains when they get off track — is hiring field service mechanics to work out of offices in two of their locations. See where we’re going with all the analogies?

As always, all the jobs we feature are culled from our very own SmartVan Job Board, which is updated every day with field service positions all over the country. Field service, we know, is a huge field with its tentacles in all sorts of different areas, and this is a chance to highlight some of those jobs and shine a light on the things people do in the field every day. Check back here weekly for a sample of some of the more eye-catching jobs available.
