The 23R1 8.0 release of Asset 360 was released Friday, April 21. In this release, we introduce features that give our customers deeper visibility into the performance of their assets, with greater controls to derive insights from and take actions against asset data.

A new dashboard, Asset Health Score, provides a proprietary calculation that gives service leaders and customer call center agents alike insight into how assets are performing across multiple indicators. Enhancements to asset technical attributes and the introduction of a maintenance plan processing engine allows service organizations to visualize, manipulate, and take action based on parameters applied to asset data.

In this post, we’ll highlight the major features of this release. For a full list of the features and enhancements in Asset 360 23R1 8.0, refer to the release notes.

Asset Health Score

Powered by CRM Analytics, Asset 360’s 23R1 8.0 release introduces a new dashboard, Asset Health Score.

Asset Health Score presents an aggregate estimation of the overall performance of an asset. Taking into consideration all data related to an asset (such as lifespan, age, operating environment, penetration, and maintenance activities), Asset Health Score gives call center agents and service leaders quick, at-a-glance insight into how assets are performing across multiple indicators. This dashboard can be configured based on customer needs, and includes an executive view that compares assets by region and product family.

Asset Health Score is available as part of the Service Analytics package, and is one of six total dashboards designed to provide deep insights and reporting into cost-to-serve, service profitability, attach rates and more. In future releases, we’re looking at adding additional performance indicators (such as first-time-fix rates) to the Asset Health Score calculation for further visibility and accuracy.

Supplier Warranty Check

This release introduces a new Lightning Web Component, Supplier Warranty, that delivers back office personnel and technicians expanded visibility into active supplier warranty coverage for parts.

Visible to technicians as well as back office workers, this allows OEMs to quickly check for supplier warranties and empowers teams to follow up with suppliers for reimbursement or to send a part to the supplier to get repaired.

Future release building on this feature will include rules-based automation and the ability to generate reports and insights to easily identify part failure trends.

Enhancements to Asset Technical Attributes

Building on the Asset Technical Attributes released in Winter ’23, this release includes several enhancements empowering service organizations to visualize, manipulate, and take action based on parameters applied to asset data.

Asset Technical Attributes Trend view introduces a visual chart showing attribute changes over time. This release also introduces a backend processing engine to support condition-based maintenance plans that leverage technical attributes – more on this in future releases!
