Preventive Maintenance (PM) is planned work or proactive service.
Preventive maintenance is important beyond what you might think:
- Efficiency. Wear and tear without periodic “tuning” can cause reduced efficiencies.
- Immediate savings for the customer and better planning for FS org. Staff planning, having the right technician available, etc.
- Time Savings. Often PM work takes less time than an emergency visit.
