PLEASANTON, Calif. — October 6, 2015 — ServiceMax, the leading field service management solution for a new era of business, today announced the opening of its newest office in Tokyo, Japan. The office accelerates global growth for ServiceMax, which saw 200 percent year-over-year revenue growth last year in Europe.
Along with the office opening, ServiceMax announced three initial customers in Japan —TopCon Corporation, Screen Graphic and Precision Solutions, and Techno Toppan Forms.
The International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce named Japan the number one market for cloud services this year, citing a Gartner projection that by 2018 the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region will account for $11.5 billion in total cloud services spending.
The Tokyo office opening comes after 15 months of market research and development of a Japanese product by ServiceMax. In that time, the company also developed local resale, implementation, and consulting partners such as iSiD, TerraSky, Comture, TOPPAN, Pactera and also an alliance partnership with PTC Japan.
